What we love about the Capital One Venture Card is that it is super easy to earn miles, AND you can redeem them on ANY hotel, airline, rental car, or other forms of “Travel”! You essentially ‘erase’ any eligible travel purchases on your statement within the last 90 days with your miles! This is a great perk and there are no limitations to how many miles you can earn!
How it Works:
Earn bonus miles once you spend a certain amount in purchases within the first 3 months of your account opening. An example is that 50,000 miles are worth $500 in travel rewards, and the possibilities are endless as to what you can use to ‘erase’ fees for your travel purchases!

How to Redeem:
Redemptions are easily done through your Venture Rewards Online Account. Once you log in, eligible travel purchases made within the last 90 days are able to be ‘erased’ at a rate of 1 cent per mile. So if you have a $60 travel charge, 6,000 miles will credit your account the purchase price and ‘erase’ the travel purchase! This works for any Hotel, Airline, or even a rental car!
The miles you earn with your Venture card also do not expire for the life of the account, so as long as your card remains active, your points will also be useable! This means you can stack up your miles for a big purchase if you so choose! The only downside of this is that Venture Miles will always only be worth 1 cent per mile, whereas other cards may be worth more cents per point/mile. However, if you are looking for simple, easy to use and a lot of flexibility, then this is your card!
