Our Verdict
The Southwest Rapid Rewards Performance Business credit card provides great value. Even with the $199 annual fee, you are getting way more value for the card. 80,000 Southwest Rapid Rewards points can get you a few great round-trip tickets for you and your companion! If you a lot of business expenses, this card is great for someone who wants to earn the Southwest Companion Pass and possibly only open one card. You’d minimum get 85,000 points after spending the $5,000 in purchases (80,000 sign up bonus plus $5,000 1x per dollar). Then you would have to spend $50,000 more at 1 point per dollar to hit your 135,000 Rapid Rewards Points. Your other option is to open a Southwest Rapid Rewards Personal Credit Card for the remaining points.
