I don’t typically write about checking account offers unless they are great and I’m personally doing them. As you may be able to guess from the title – I just took advantage of a brand new Citizens Bank promotional checking account offer. The crazy thing is that this is actually my third Citizen’s account in three years and this bonus will bring my overall profits past $4,000! The Offer

Earn up to $400 when opening a new Citizens Bank Checking Account. A $300 bonus will be credited after opening a new checking account and receiving at least one $500 direct deposit within 60 days. The additional $100 can be earned via using the new debit card once the account is opened. You can earn $2 for every debit purchase up to $100 cashback within the first 60 days of the account being opened.

Eligible Accounts

You can choose from any of the variety of checking accounts that Citizens offers. I went with the One Deposit Checking which comes with a $9.99 cent monthly fee. The monthly fee can be waived by making at least one deposit per statement period.
