The Bills Season is now over and the Mafia Members must now look towards the 2020 Season. Next Fall, the Buffalo Bills will be heading to Nashville, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Arizona, and Denver. Every year I try to Travel Hack my way to one to two games.

Roundtrip flights from Buffalo to Las Vegas

Southwest

Average Cost of using Points for a Roundtrip Flight is 33,186 Points + $11.20 in Taxes & Fees. If you earn the Southwest Companion Pass, it’s possible to get Two Roundtrip Flights to Vegas for 33,186 + $22.40 in Taxes & Fees. The Southwest Companion Pass Can be earned from accruing 125,000 points in the same calendar year or flying 100 one-way flights.

One of the top Travel Hacks is to combine Two Southwest Credit Card signup bonuses to meet the 125,000 points requirement. You can read more about earning the Southwest Companion Pass HERE

Jetblue

Average Cost of Using Points for a Roundtrip Flight is 34,800 Points + $11.20 in Taxes & Fees. These points do fluctuate quite a bit from day-to-day. I’ve seen Roundtrips for as low as 20,000 Points and as high as 60,000 Points.

United Airlines

The Saver Level Cost of Using Miles for Roundtrip Flight is 25,000 Miles + $11.20 in Taxes & Fees. The availability for those flights in Saver varies from week to week. Non-saver level flights can go up to 32,500 miles each way!

Credit Card options to earn Free Flights

My favorite option to earn FREE flights using points and miles are Chase Ultimate Rewards Earning Credit Cards. Ultimate Rewards Points are not tied to a specific airline or hotel chain. These points can be transferred from Ultimate Rewards directly to Southwest, JetBlue, and United. For all three programs, the points are transferred at a 1:1 Ratio meaning 60,000 Chase Points equal 60,000 Southwest Points. The second reason why this is the best option is that there are multiple Chase Credit Cards that earn Ultimate Rewards Points.

Hotel Options for Bills Vegas Trip

There are many hotels and resorts located in Las Vegas leaving a ton of options to choose from. One of my favorite Travel Hacks out there is Status Matching to Caesars Rewards Diamond which offers perks like a Free $100 Dinner Voucher, 2 Show tickets each month, comped rooms, and a Free stay at the Atlantis in the Bahamas. The reason why this isn’t my number one option for a FREE Room in Las Vegas is that the availability for Comped Rooms varies highly on the time of year and if you are a frequent gambler. Let’s look at My Favorite Option below!

Hyatt Properties in Las Vegas

  • Bellagio – 25,000 Points Per Night (Avg $536)
  • Hyatt Place Las Vegas – 8,000 Hyatt Points Per Night (Avg $288)
  • The Signature at MGM Grand – 20,000 Points Per Night (Avg $359)
  • Hyatt Place Las Vegas at Silverton Village – 8,000 Points Per Night (Avg $228)
  • Vdara – 20,000 Points Per Night (Avg $461)
  • Aria – 25,000 Points Per Night (Avg $574)
  • NoMad Las Vegas – 20,000 Points Per Night (Avg $499)
  • Park MGM Las Vegas – 15,000 Points Per Night (Avg $411)
  • MGM Grand – 15,000 Points Per Night (Avg $159)
  • New York-New York Hotel & Casino – 15,000 Points Per Night (Avg $399)
  • Excalibur – 12,000 Points Per Night (Avg 199)
  • Luxor – 12,000 Points Per Night (Avg $299)
  • Delano Las Vegas – 25,000 Points Per Night (Avg $436)
  • Mandalay Bay – 20,000 Points Per Night (Avg $374)
  • The Mirage – 20,000 Points Per Night (Avg $499)

Credit Card options to earn a Free Hotel

Similar to Airfare for Las Vegas, my Favorite Credit Card Options are again the Chase Ultimate Rewards Credit Cards Points. This is thanks to the Many Transfer Partners of Chase Ultimate Rewards. The Ultimate Rewards Points can be transferred at a 1:1 Ratio to the Hyatt Program. The best part about this program is that you have the option to divide where the points are transferred to which is what makes this the number one option for a FREE Trip to Las Vegas.

Lots of ways to Slice the Cake for Bills Vegas Game

Looking at the variability between all of the Hyatt Options in Las Vegas, it’s possible to earn a FREE room anywhere from 8,000 to 25,000 Points Per Night. If you were to open all 3 Chase Cards listed above that would equate to over 160,000 Ultimate Rewards Points. The cheapest option for Las Vegas would be to fly Roundtrip on United for 50,000 points and stay at one of the 8,000 points per night Hyatt Properties. For three nights, that would be 74,000 points, leaving 86,000 points leftover from the three signup bonuses. The best Travel Hack would be to earn the Southwest Companion Pass and take a friend for FREE
