This offer first appeared in December of 2020 and is back again. This time around, Frontier has added more airlines and hotels to status match from!
The Frontier Airline Status Match Offer
Eligible Frontier Airlines customers who also hold elite status in another airline or hotel rewards program are invited to the status match. There are 15 different airlines and 15 different hotels included in this match, 13 of which will lead to Elite 100K, Frontier’s highest status.

There are 15 different hotels included in the Frontier Status Match promotion. Unfortunately, there is no hotel status that matches the top Frontier Status, Elite 100K. All hotel status is broken down between Frontier’s Elite 20K and Elite 50K levels.

There are a handful of benefits that come with the Frontier Elite 100K status which are exclusive to the top tier. The benefits that I would find most beneficial are the Free Checked Bags, Free Seat Selection, and Free access to Frontier’s DiscountDen which offers cheap rates not available to the public. If you’ve ever actually looked at Frontier’s rates, they are often pretty cheap so you can imagine what the DiscountDen rates look like!

How to complete the Frontier Airline Status Match
The first step is to sign up for a Frontier Airline rewards account if you don’t have one. If you do have one, you can skip step one.
The second step is to complete the Frontier Status Match Application and pay the $49 application fee.
When does the Frontier Airline Status Match promotion end?
The final day to complete the Frontier Airline Status Match is December 31st, 2021. After completing the status match, your status will be valid through December 31st, 2022.
Basic Breakdown
I am a big fan of the Frontier Status Match promotion. Living in a city that services Frontier, I’m familiar with how they are heavy-handed in surprise fees. A cheap fare can quickly skyrocket in price if you want to bring luggage or select seats. If you have status and are considering traveling to any city Frontier services prior to December 31st, 2022 then I’d say this is a good promotion for you.
Basic Travel Tip – To save even more money on Frontier (and Sprit), head to the airport and purchase your tickets in person. This will save you around $20 per segment for each ticket.
