The moment we’ve all been waiting for, Southwest flights to Hawaii are LIVE! AND THEY ARE INSANELY CHEAP! I saw prices for $49 or 1,910 points one way out of California.

According to Southwest, you will be able fly out of:

  • Oakland (OAK)
  • San Jose (SJC)
  • Las Angeles (LAX)
  • Ontario (ONT)
  • Orange County (SNA)
  • Long Beach (LGB)
  • Burbank (BUR)
  • San Diego (SAN)

March 17th is the earliest you can book out of OAK to HNL, so if you are itching to get away, book now! Seems like flights are going FAST.

Just as a reminder, you can use the Southwest Companion Pass on these flights! So once you book your flight with points or miles, your companion can fly for taxes! This is a HUGE step for Southwest and everyone wanting to go to Hawaii. I’m interested to see how these rates will affect other airlines.

Don’t forget, you can always cancel points flights at any time and be fully refunded. So book your flights NOW as they are filling up quick!

If you want to apply for the Southwest Priority Card, you can get 40,000 points after spending $1,000 on the card. This can probably get 2 people to Hawaii RT!

Okay now I have to convince Dave that we NEED to go to Maui for a long weekend.

Happy Booking!

Aloha!
